Imagine Gnats is a personal blog I have been peeking at for a while. Rachael is an all-around crafty lady, fabric enthusiast, blogger, and designer. She posts about all kinds of things; computer and bloggy (that is a word!) stuff, shares other bloggers she is collaborating with, and all kinds of crafting and sewing projects.
imagine gnats started as a little etsy shop, selling small sewn items to help support her family and also to gives her a creative outlet in a corporate world. It’s come a long way in just five years… from a hobby to a full-time job. Her love of sewing and design has grown as well, and now her sewing patterns help and inspire others to create.
She is proud to have created patterns for garments that are easy to sew and easy to wear. Imagine Gnats patterns feature classic silhouettes with a modern twist that incorporate clever details and practical techniques.
Currently, her patterns are all offered as printable PDFs. The money raised on indiegogo will help cover the costs of an initial run of paper patterns, which means sharing her designs with even more sewists and inspiring more people. We are supporting her Indiegogo campaign and will be a Canadian retailer!
Her initial print run will include 500 each of her existing five garment patterns. All of the money raised will go directly to that effort. Once patterns are printed, she will begin the selling and distribution phase. We will be carrying all 5 patterns!
Feel free to support her Indiegogo campaign! And share it! Tweet about it! All that good stuff! (If you are seeing this after the indiegogo campaign is closed, you can buy imagine gnats paper patterns from us!)
We really like the idea of supporting independent pattern makers, and we want to spread the word about great crafting and DIYers!
