You might know about our little crush on Carolyn Friedlander! You might have one yourself! As mention previously we were able to get our hands on some Architextures and Botanics (we are getting 5 prints, the black, white and grey). We are also asking our distributor about her upcoming collection Doe. We have been able to get our hand on some! (well the order has been placed, so it will be in stock VERY soon) In the meantime, have a look at what is coming! And if you like you can place a preorder, which will go out ASAP.
We went with the Grey colour story, which includes some of her ever expanding Architextures Crosshatch, this time in shadow and shale. The shale seems more like a reversal, the background is shale and the lines are white.
Carolyn also does not name her prints, making it harder for us to describe them! I think I will start with the 2 hardest! They are white on white prints! 15028 is small patches of crosshatching. (I’ve include a coloured version som you can see it!)
The other is remeniscent of the contour line from architextures, but sliced up and reassembled!
The whole thing about her Doe line is that it is a bit of a mash-up without any worries about mixing prints because matching is over rated! These next ones are triangles in a few different shades of grey and black which has a bit of peach or pink (to be confirm once we have the fabrics in hand)
There is a grey one with a graph paper background.
And lastly but not least, a black line doodle.
There are a ton of projects you can use these fabrics for. Once again there are a few bag projects that caught our eyes! Anna from Noodlehead has yet another free pattern, via Robert Kaufman. it is called the Trail Tote bag and it is available in 2 sizes. Get the pattern here!
Have fun with these new fabrics! Feel free to share some photos of what you make!
