Our inventory is growing! We thought we would share our items in case you didn’t realize the variety we had in stock!
We carried vintage items! They are new old stock. What is very exciting about vintage items is the quality of the items and the fact that they exist in a finite quantity! We hope you enjoy them. We want them to go to good homes.
Mother of pearl buttons
Sewing machine bobbins. We have different sizes. We don’t have the particular information for which sizes fit which machine. However we know they are are for treadle machines! Don’t have a vintage sewing machine? Still think these are neat? We think they would be great in mixed media projects or for jewelry!
Hand sewing needles. These were made in England! Need we say more? We have some Sharps, some Betweens and some Double Long Darning needles.
Sturdy and simple belt buckles. They can accommodate material about 2″ (5 cm) wide.
Red fire polished and Moroccan beads
These are pretty oddball items. Firstly, coat chains are stitched in to coats, jacket or blazers so you can hang them form a hook with distorting the fabric. We also think they could neat are trim or embellishment, especially for steampunk projects. Split pins are maybe the hardest item to explain. They are somethings known as R clips or cotter pins. Traditionally they would have been used to secure buttons to a garment but could be easily removed. You would remove more delicate buttons before washing or pressing the garment. Again we though these were neat and could be used in craft projects. We are using some to attach a collection of vintage shank buttons to a stretched canvas!
We are working on expanding our inventory. If there is something we do not carry that you would like, let us know! We can look into special ordering it for you!
